Job Purpose
Warehouse/Delivery driver plans, organizes and monitors the receiving, storage and distribution of all tires received either from suppliers or branches, ensuring a smooth and consistent operation so tires are distributed to proper branches and customers in an effective and efficient manner as needed to satisfy internal and external customer requirements.

Duties and responsibilities

• High School Diploma (or equivalent) or two years of related experience and or training.


• Physical inventory experience – Understanding of inventory turns


• Basic computer skills


• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide


• Ability to read, speak, write and interpret English documents


• Must have an acceptable driving record, and a valid driver’s license in California. Copy of H6 Driving Record Required.
• Insurance Company approval required


• Drug test and physical required

• Regularly exposed to moving vehicles, fumes or airborne particles that may be toxic, and the use of computer keyboards and computer screens, and compressed air (in tires or tanks), that can be explosive. Occasionally exposed to wet and / or hot or cold conditions, and outdoor weather conditions.


• The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.


• Regularly works 35-40 hours per week, overtime required as needed


• Required to work some Saturday’s as needed

• Regularly required to work standing up, walking, crouching, climb and / or balance, driving, using hands, legs and fingers.
  Must regularly lift and/or move up t0 40 pounds, occasionally lift up to a rolling position of 120 pounds. A lifting devise and/or a fellow associate must be used for objects over 100 pounds.


• Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception


• Assistance from other staff members and/or lifting devises is mandatory when lifting an object over 60 pounds. Rolling a tire or wheel is required once this tire/wheel is upright or the use of a lifting devise to move the product.
